Rodman, Heaps, Macario headline USWNT roster for April friendlies

The latest U.S. women’s national team roster has been released ahead of April’s pair of home friendlies against Brazil.
Trinity Rodman, Lindsey Heaps, and Catarina Macario headlined Emma Hayes’ 24-player camp roster, U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday. It marks Rodman’s first inclusion since the 2024 Summer Olympics.
"This roster has Olympians returning, less experienced players continuing to try to prove themselves, a few uncapped players and some players who have seen and done it all. The mix of players along with two games against a dynamic Brazil team who we last saw in the gold medal game means this event will be a lot of fun," said Hayes.
"All of the players know they have to earn every roster spot, every starting spot and every minute they get as a finisher off the bench. Working with players who are striving for consistency in elite performance, so they can keep getting call-ups and keep exceling at this level, is an exciting process and one that continues with these two games."
19 of the 24 call-ups were part of the USWNT’s SheBelieves Cup roster earlier this year. Goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce and defender Avery Patterson will be seeking their senior debuts for the USWNT during April’s camp.
Chelsea FC striker Mia Fishel and Angel City FC goalkeeper Angelina Anderson have also been included in the training camp roster. It will be Fishel’s first USWNT involvement since tearing her ACL in 2024.
SoFi Stadium and PayPal Park will host the matches on April 5 and 8 respectively.
