The U.S. women’s national team added one more friendly to its growing summer schedule.

Emma Hayes’ squad will host Canada on July 2 in Audi Field in the 2025 Continental Clasico, U.S. Soccer announced Monday. The Americans face the Republic of Ireland on June 26 and 29 respectively in Commerce City, Colorado and Cincinnati, Ohio respectively before closing out their window in the Nation’s Capital against the Canadians.

"Canada is a top team and this match is worthy of the Allstate Continental Clásico," said Hayes. "As this game will end a three-match window, we'll get a good chance to see our whole roster in training and hopefully game action before selecting a team to start in Washington, D.C. The Spirit fans have been fantastic supporting their team and we're looking forward to them coming out to create an electric atmosphere for this game as well."

The USWNT and Canada met in the CONCACAF World Cup Gold Cup semifinals and SheBelieves Cup Final in 2024, with the Americans winning in shootouts on both occasions.

July’s showdown will mark the 67th all-time meeting between the two CONCACAF rivals, with the USWNT holding a 53-4-9 record.

Canada dropped to No. 7 in the March FIFA Rankings, while the USWNT remained in the No. 1 spot.
