Real Madrid talent Rafael Obrador has been loaned out to Segunda giants Deportivo La Coruna, where he will spend the season in Segunda.
Obrador, 20, shot to fame after making his La Liga debut as a 16-year-old for RCD Mallorca in 2020 before Los Blancos moved for him. He has spent the last few years at Real Madrid Castilla, and was part of the senior squad's preseason tour to the USA this summer. Diario AS say that Obrador had attracted interest from some La Liga sides too, but will play at Riazor instead.

Deportivo do not have an option to buy Obrador, who is their sixth signing of the summer. He comes in to strengthen their options, with Sergio Escudero out long term, and Iano Simao dealing with fitness issues. Last season Obrador was a regular for Raul Gonzalez at Castilla, but has little chance of breaking into the first team, with Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia ahead of him.
