Barcelona sanctioned the sale of further assets at the end of December, bringing in €100m in exchange for the rights to commercialise and use 475 of the VIP seats that will be built at the renovated Camp Nou over a period of 30 years. The deal was only made public several weeks later, and the names of the companies have still not been revealed by the club.

Now Catalan paper Sport have done so. One Dubai-based investor, who spent €70m on the deal, of which €28m has been deposited, in exchange for 400 of those seats remains unnamed. The Qatari business that spent €30m in exchange for the remaining 75 seats, of which all of it has been deposited, has been revealed as Forta Advisors Limited.

The company has only been in operation for the last 7 months, and was founded on the 31st of May 2024, and was registered in the United Kingdom with two directors. One of those is Sultan Bin Jassim Al-Thani, and the other is Ali Abdulla Al-Thawadi. The latter was involved with Barcelona previously, as he helped to negotiate Barcelona's sponsorship agreement with Qatar Foundation under then President Sandro Rosell.

The Forta Advisors website provides little information on the nature of their activity, and notes only that they seek to invest in 'tomorrow's most exciting and sector-defying brands.' UK-based firm Highvern UK Ltd have been appointed as the secretary of the company, and also manage several other London-based companies, most of which are real estate businesses.

Forta Advisors are listed as a company involved in 'combined office administrative service activities'. Certainly it is background that will raise more questions than from Barcelona members than it will answer, with the club providing little information beyond the terms of the deal too.
