Sevilla planning for 3-5 exits in January transfer window

Sevilla seem to be dealing with a perpetually short squad these days, and once again Sporting Director Victor Orta will be seeking to move on players he has brought in this transfer window.
The winter transfer window will see Sevilla try to find exits for Valentin Barco, Gonzalo Montiel and Kelechi Iheanacho, say Diario AS, although in the former's case, it is simply a matter of ending his loan deal with Brighton and Hove Albion. Suso and Marcao are also out of contract at the end of the season, and with neither important to Garcia Pimienta, they could also leave.
With the money freed up by those exits, Orta will try to sign Ronald Vargas from Augsburg out wide, and striker Juninho Pereira from Qarabag. It has also been noted that Los Nervionenses are short of a creative midfielder.
Sevilla's dramatic financial downfall has forced them into taking chances on struggling veterans, raw youngsters and free transfers over the past two seasons. However those gambles are paying off all too infrequently for Orta and Sevilla.
