The United States women's national team continues to own the SheBelieves Cup.

The Americans won the annual tournament for the fifth consecutive year, defeating regional rival Canada 5-4 on penalties after Tuesday's final in Columbus finished 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Just as she did in last month's dramatic W Gold Cup semifinal against the same opposition, U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher dominated from 12 yards out, stopping three Canadian attempts and converting one of her own. Defender Emily Fox then slotted home the decisive spot-kick to give the United States its seventh SheBelieves Cup title overall.

More to come.
