Paul Pogba sent Manchester United fans into a frenzy after posting a cryptic four-word message on social media.
The French World Cup winner swapped Old Trafford for Juventus in 2022 after a tumultuous second spell at the club but hinted that a third stint could be in the works in a bizarre social media post.
Pogba has been without a club since November when his contract with the Serie A giants was terminated.
Since then, the 31-year-old has been gearing up for his grand return to football by training in Miami and is hoping to secure a new club this month.
The midfielder saw his four-year doping ban reduced to 18 months on appeal meaning he is free to return to the pitch in March.
The free agent has been linked with a host of clubs across the globe with interest from the Premier League, Ligue 1, MLS and the Saudi Pro League.
But Pogba has hinted that his future could lie in familiar territory after sharing an image on his Instagram account.
The cartoon image shows Pogba draped in a Manchester United kit alongside fan favourite Amad Diallo.
The picture sees Pogba wearing the No.6 shirt he wore at United alongside a laughing emoji.
Pogba went one further in his next post where he shared a photo of himself overlooking the city of Miami alongside the caption: "Let’s see what’s coming…"
However, talkSPORT understands that Man United are not entertaining the idea of re-signing him.
The Frenchman left Manchester United two-and-a-half years ago on a free transfer, six years after Jose Mourinho splashed £89million of his summer transfer budget on acquiring the star.

He played 226 times during his second stint at Old Trafford, netting 39 times and registering 51 assists.
However, a mixture of poor form and injuries prevented Pogba from showing his best face in a United shirt.
He was successful in winning the 2018 World Cup with France during his time at Manchester United but was unable to replicate his international success at club level.
As a result, Pogba's relationship with sections of the club's fan base began to deteriorate with a number of public spats picked up by television cameras.
His exit felt inevitable from the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign and Pogba went on to announce his departure later that season.
Pogba has never played professionally in his homeland however Ligue 1 giants Marseille are understood to be readying themselves to move for the midfielder.
Ironically, former Manchester United teammate Mason Greenwood who currently plies his trade at Marseille, admits he is keen to reunite with Pogba.
"He’s a great man, professional, who has taken me under his wing," Greenwood told French broadcaster Telefoot. “He’s a top player. Any team in Europe would love to have him. If he came here it would be great."
