Jamie Vardy joins Man United and Tottenham legends in elite group after landmark strike

Jamie Vardy has added his name to the Premier League's history books once again.
The Leicester City striker scored his fourth goal of the Premier League season against Nottingham Forest on Friday night.
Ryan Yates put Forest ahead after just six minutes, before Vardy equalised, only for Chris Wood to extend the away side’s lead early in the second half.
In doing so, Vardy joined an elite group consisting of former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur legends.
At the age of 37 years and 288 days, he is the fourth-oldest player ever to score in back-to-back Premier League appearances.
Only Teddy Sheringham (39y 350d), Ryan Giggs (39y 86d) and Graham Alexander (38y and 28d) are perched above the forward on the list.
Vardy's illustrious career in the English top-flight consists of a Premier League title, Golden Boot and FWA Footballer of the Year award.
In November 2015, he was also awarded a Guinness World Record for becoming only the fifth-ever player to win the Premier League Player of the Month trophy in consecutive months.
Vardy made his 316th Premier League appearance on Friday night and has scored a whopping 160 goals during that time.
Following the 2015/16 season, he was also named Premier League player of the season after his beloved Leicester City remarkably won the league title.
