Walker went down holding his left hamstring early in the first half after denying Vinicius Jr’s shot from crossing the line.

He rose to his feet and looked OK to continue having gone off the pitch.

However, he was brought off for debutant Ezri Konsa moments later in the 20th minute, and could now be a huge injury doubt for City.

Pep Guardiola’s side face Arsenal in a massive Premier League title clash on March 31, with just one point separating the two sides.

Walker has made 25 starts in the league for City this season, with his overall appearances for the campaign standing at 38.

The 33-year-old remains a key starter under Guardiola given his efforts in previous seasons en route to silverware.

However, he could be set to miss one of City’s biggest games of the season as the approach the crucial run-in.

The visit of Arsenal spells a huge test for the reigning champions, who are eyeing a record fourth consecutive title.
