Real Salt Lake extended its unbeaten streak to 14 games on Saturday without scoring a goal.

Goalkeeper Zac MacMatch made two saves as RSL battled to a 0-0 draw with host CF Montreal.

RSL's unbeaten streak ties the club record set in 2010. The current streak comprises eight wins and six draws.

Real Salt Lake, sitting in first place in Major League Soccer's Western Conference, moved to 9-2-7.

RSL had a 19-11 advantage in shots, including a 6-2 edge in shots on goal, but could not put the ball in the net.

Goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois had six saves for Montreal (4-7-6).

RSL's Chicho Arango, with 16 goals in 18 games this season, remains one shy of the single-season club record of 17, set in 2012 by Alvaro Saborio.

RSL will return to action Wednesday at Kansas City (6:30 p.m. MDT, Apple TV).
