Kuopion Palloseura’s Matias Siltanen is on the radar of AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City, according to Finland newspaper Savon Sanomat, relayed by Fotboll Transfers.
The 17-year-old graduated from the club’s youth system and made his way into their first team in 2023. Since then, he clocked in 3,356 minutes from 43 games.
Siltanen’s performances and potential seem to have seen Bournemouth and Manchester City take notice as these two clubs have followed him.
The Cherries have tried to get ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side by tabling a ‘formal offer’ to sign the midfielder. Swedish side Djurgårdens IF Fotboll and Norwegian side Fredrikstad FK have also tabled bids but none of the details are mentioned.
Manchester City have sent scouts to follow the Finland U19 international. Therefore, the report states his agent wants to wait and see if the Premier League winners will also send a proposal.
It’s not made clear how long will Siltanen’s representative will wait for Manchester City.
Savon Sanomat claim Kuopion Palloseura are demanding €1m for the teenager and this certainly shouldn’t be a concern for either Bournemouth or Manchester City.
