On November 21st, El Mira reported Sevilla and other clubs are after Enes Ünal, who is very likely to leave AFC Bournemouth in the winter market.

Later that month, Estadio Deportivo stated Getafe will fight to sign the 27-year-old on a loan deal.

Journalist Máximo de la Cruz Ramírez took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide the latest on the striker.

The Turkey international initially joined Bournemouth on loan in the winter 2024 market and they made his stay permanent in the summer.

Ünal spent over 100 days on the sidelines and returned to action in September. Since then, he clocked in over 200 minutes from 12 league games, managing a goal and an assist in the process.

The player has decided to leave the Cherries in search of regular game time. Ramírez has found out from his entourage that the Bournemouth frontman would be ‘very close’ to joining Getafe on loan in January.

This puts Sevilla out of the race to sign Ünal and they have to look at other options in the market to strengthen their attack next month.
