'Seems they're willing to make offer' – Manchester United bid for PL rising star thought to be on way

Dean Huijsen scored against Manchester United for Bournemouth some weeks ago.

It was the Dutchman’s second goal of the season, as the Cherries picked up a deserved 3-0 win at Old Trafford.

Huijsen has now played 14 Premier League games for Andoni Iraola’s side and has really grown in stature over that time.

His performances are now attracting attention from major clubs and Manchester United themselves are said to be interested in the towering centre-back.

Tuttomercatoweb have reported on the teenager, who arrived at Bournemouth from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

They state that while Real Madrid are interested in the 19-year-old, Manchester United were dazzled by his impressive showing at Old Trafford in December. They circled his name on their shortlist and it 'seems they’re willing to make offer' in January.

The idea of an exit this month has been ruled out by the report, even if there seems confidence that the Red Devils certainly like the player.

It has been only months since Huijsen joined and letting him go early in his career makes little sense for the Cherries, especially when they are only starting to see the best of him.

These claims regarding Manchester United look like an attempt to hype the situation further. Real Madrid being interested in the Bournemouth player looked like more hype at this stage and the situation appears to be getting ahead of itself.

Even if Manchester United did hold interest, signing someone in the Bournemouth player’s position is far from a priority for them right now, so Tuttomercatoweb’s claims are questionable.
