According to a claim in the Spanish media, Valencia are showing interest in Bournemouth defender Max Aarons.
The full back has hardly figured for the Premier League side this season and may have to move to a club which can give him more opportunities.
Super Deporte have reported on Valencia's interest in the Bournemouth player after previously being linked with him in 2020. The Spanish giants instead brought in Italian defender Alessandro Florenzi, but he's failed to impress during his time in Spain.
The Spanish media outlet say they are again targeting Aarons after ditching their plans to sign Sporting full back Iván Fresneda.
It's claimed they have now turned their attention to Aarons and will ‘accelerate’ their efforts sign the 25-year-old, as their look to find a replacement for the injured Thierry Rendall.
There are no details on whether Valencia are looking for a loan or want to sign Aarons on a permanent deal.
Aarons has made just three appearances for Bournemouth this season, all coming in the Premier League. However, he did make his first start of the campaign during the Christmas period.
Valencia have been going through turmoil for years and currently find themselves second to bottom in La Liga.
