Asante Kotoko have officially parted ways with their long-serving goalkeeper trainer, Najahu Issah.

The club communicated its decision to Issah through a letter on Thursday. An official statement from Kotoko confirming the development is expected in the coming days.

Issahs dismissal is part of a broader restructuring effort following the recent sacking of head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his assistants.

Having joined the club in 2020, Najahu Issahs departure brings an end to his five-year tenure with the Porcupine Warriors.

During his time, he played a pivotal role in the growth and development of the clubs goalkeepers, earning praise for his dedication, discipline, and professionalism.

Under his guidance, goalkeepers Danlad Ibrahim and Frederick Asare both earned call-ups to the Black Stars.

In the meantime, interim head coach and newly appointed Technical Director Karim Zito has been leading intense preparations ahead of Kotokos Matchday 29 fixture against Aduana FC, scheduled for Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
