Asante Kotoko should have appointed Pitso Mosimane as Prosper Narteh Ogum’s successor – Kojo Addae-Mensah

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Databank, Kojo Addae-Mensah, believes Asante Kotoko should have appointed legendary South African coach, Pitso Mosimane, as Prosper Narteh Ogums successor.Narteh Ogum, who made a return to the club in July 2023, has been shown the exit door due to a poor run of results in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.However, the Interim Management Committee have settled on former player of the club, Karim Zito, as the Interim Coach and Technical Director of the club until the end of the season. Prince Yaw Owusu has been confirmed as the assistant coach for the club.Despite the decision, Addae-Mensah, who is a former Columnist of Kotoko Express, the club should have considered hiring the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach.Asante Kotoko should have gone for Pitso Mosimane as Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum's replacement, he told Kumasi-based LUV FM.Asante Kotoko currently sit 4th on the league log with 47 points after 28 matches played. The Porcupine Warriors will hope to return to winning ways when they host Aduana FC in the Matchday 29 games on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 15:00 GMT.
