CAF’s Capacity Building Programmes conclude with graduation ceremony in Accra

CAFs Capacity Building Programmes at the ongoing CAF African Schools Football Championship came to a grand close on Friday, following a ceremony held to honour participants who completed training during the week.A total of 180 participants, who began their programmes on Monday, 21 April, were honoured at the graduation ceremony, attended by CAF General Secretary, Mr. Veron Mosengo-Omba, after the conclusion of six programmes that ran alongside the Continental Finals.In line with CAFs holistic approach to youth football development, the CAF African Schools Football Championship Ghana 2025 featured five educational programmes: the CAF Young Referees Programme, CAF Young Reporters Programme, CAF Young Medical Officers Programme, CAF Safeguarding Programme, and the CAF D License Coaching Course.Congratulating the graduates, CAFs Member Associations Director, Ms. Sarah Mukuna, urged the participants to make the most of the opportunity provided by CAF. She noted that the graduation forms part of the building blocks towards achieving CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepes vision of making African football globally competitive and self-sustaining.The CAF African Schools Football Championship Ghana 2025 will officially conclude on Saturday, 26 April, with the Boys and Girls U-15 finals, both of which will be broadcast live on SuperSport and CAFs official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
