[caption id="attachment_1236569" align="alignnone" width="612"] LEICESTER, ENGLAND - AUGUST 19: Jamie Vardy of Leicester City celebrates with Abdul[/caption]Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has reacted to the news of Jamie Vardy's departure from Leicester City.The Leicester City legend will leave the club at the end of the season, marking the end of a remarkable 13-year career with the Foxes.Issahaku formed a lethal partnership with Vardy last season in the English Championship, starring in Leicester's Premier League promotion campaign.However, this season, the Ghana international assisted Vardy once in the Premier League before his unfortunate injury, which has kept him on the sidelines for majority of the campaign.His absence has been a huge blow for the Foxes who have been relegated with five games remaining.In paying tribute to Vardy, Issahaku wrote on his Instagram Story: "It is a great feeling to share the same field with this legendary man, Jamie Vardy."Vardy, 38, will continue his career elsewhere next season.
"To the fans of Leicester, I'm gutted that this day is coming, but I knew it was going to come eventually," Vardy said in a video posted by Leicester on social media announcing his exit.
"I've spent 13 unbelievable years at this club, with lots of success, and some downs, but the majority have all been highs.
"It's finally time to call it a day, which I'm devastated about, but I think the timing is right.
"Leicester will always, always have a massive place in my heart."
