Frank reveals 'big' price tag on Mbeumo

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has expressed that clubs would have to fork out a huge transfer fee to lure Bryan Mbeumo away from the club during the January transfer window.

The Cameroonian star raised eyebrows during the last couple of seasons as he continues to shine as one of the best African players in the Premier League today.

Now though, on the back of scoring 13 goals in 22 Premier League games, Mbuemo has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

However, according to Frank, potential suitors would have to state serious numbers on the cheque book to prize the Brentford talisman away from the Gtech Community Stadium.

“Nope [the Brentford manager said when asked if it would be difficult to keep hold of Mbeumo]," Frank said, as per Liverpool.com.

“It would be that big a fee (to tempt a deal) that I can’t imagine the size of the fee.

“I’m not even focused on keeping the best players, I’m just expecting them to stay,” he said. “And adding? We are always in the market. We don’t have urgency to bring new players in, but of course we are aware if we suddenly need some."
