Young Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Mensah continued his fine form in Romania as he found the net in Arges Pitestis 4-2 victory over Steaua Bucuresti in the Romania Superliga promotion play-off on Wednesday.Mensah grabbed the equaliser in the 24th minute after Piteti had gone behind early in the first half. The goal came from a scrappy situation in the box after Steaua failed to clear a dangerous corner. The Ghanaians initial effort was blocked, but he made no mistake with the rebound, sending the ball into the bottom left corner.The goal sparked life into the home side, who took the lead just before halftime. Pitesti added two more goals in the second half to put the result beyond doubt, although Steaua managed to pull one back from the penalty spot late in the game.Mensah has now scored in both legs of the play-off tie against Steaua, underlining his growing influence in the squad. Arge Piteti now stand just one win away from securing a return to the Romanian top flight.
