'Jackson never gets the love'

Former Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster believes that Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson does not get the plaudits he deserves as he continues to enjoy a fruitful start to the 2024/25 campaign.

While Jackson struggled to make a first impression under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino last season, the Senegalese star has been one of Chelsea's most important attackers during the early stages of the 24/25 season.

In 10 appearances made across the board, Jackson managed to record six goals and three assists, all of which came in the Premier League.

According to Foster, the African star is doing what's required of him and that supporters should appreciate his regularity in front of goal this season.

"One player who never gets the love he should is Nicolas Jackson," Foster said on FozCast, as per the Chelsea Chronicle.

Fair play to him, he's doing the job. He's putting the ball in the back of the net and he's doing it on the regular."
