Kudus: 'We understand the disappointment & frustration'

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has issued an apology to supporters of the Black Stars following their recent defeat to Sudan in matchday four of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

As it stands, Ghana remains without a win in Group F and have accumulated just two points from four matches played in their qualifying bid so far.

Taking to his social media accounts this week, the West Ham attacker expressed that he, along with his teammates, have been left frustrated following the Black Star's recent run of results.

"On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the people of Ghana for our recent performances against Sudan in Accra and Libya," Kudus expressed in part.

"Despite our utmost effort and dedication, the results did not reflect our aspirations or the pride we have in representing our beloved nations. We understand the disappointment and frustration this as caused, and we share those feelings.

"We urge all fans to stand by us during this challenging period. Your encouragement and faith in us will fuel our determination to succeed. We will not give up.

"We look forward to redeeming ourselves in the upcoming matches."
