According to reports in German football media, Liverpool have earmarked Egyptian star Omar Marmoush as the player to replace Mohamed Salah at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Salah, who is believed to be heading toward the end of his spell with the Anfield giants, is tipped to make a big money move to the Saudi Pro League in the near future.
While Salah committed himself to Liverpool for the 2024/25 campaign, it's said that the Reds are now looking into the market for a new attacker.
According to the Sports Bild, as per Paisley Gates, Liverpool have emerged as the 'main contenders' to sign Marmoush.
The attacker recently attracted interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona, however, the report claims that Liverpool are favourites to land the 25-year-old's signature.
On the back of scoring 11 goals in 10 Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt this season, the Kairo-born star is reportedly ‘ready’ to sign for the 19-time English league champions.
