St. Anovers, Watreso Power FC, Nacoro SC, and Obuasi Lion Boys were crowned champions of the Obuasi East Colts League on Sunday in a vibrant coronation ceremony.In the Colts Premier League category, Obuasi Lion Boys secured the U13 title, while Nacoro SC dominated by winning both the U15 and U17 championships.In the Colts Division One League, Watreso Power FC triumphed in the U13 and U15 divisions, while St. Anovers claimed the U17 title after a hard-fought campaign.Key figures including JoeSalam Abubakar, First Vice Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee (NJC), and NJC Secretary Tophic Abdul Kadir graced the event, underscoring the importance of grassroots football development.Also attending was the CEO of Big Piero, title sponsors of the league, who pledged continued support for youth football.The ceremony, with medals and trophies presented by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), celebrated the dedication and talent of the players.The event highlighted the growing strength of juvenile football in Obuasi East and offered a promising future for Ghanaian football.
