A Turkish journalist has claimed he was assaulted by Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen outside a nightclub in Istanbul on Thursday night.
The incident kicked off when Posta reporter Tolga Bozduman and some colleagues filmed Osimhen while he was leaving the venue with a group of friends.
The Nigeria international is alleged to have reacted furiously after noticing the camera flashes going off and approached Bozduman before trying to snatch his camera.
Bozduman was then punched in the confrontation with Osimhen, who reportedly hurled insults at the journalists and offered them money to destroy the film.
“I filmed Osimhen at the door with three of my colleagues. When the flashes went off, all hell broke loose,” Bozduman said.
“He ran towards me, screaming. He tried to take my camera away from me, but I didn’t let him. The punch he threw hit me in the head. My right side still hurts.
“He then started swearing. Then he offered, ‘Destroy the footage, I’ll give you money.’ When I refused, he threatened me by saying, ‘I will ruin you’.”
Aslan have yet to issue a statement on the matter as they prepare for a Super Lig clash with Konyaspor on Friday evening.
