Otto Addos willingness to accept his past mistakes and his relentless work ethic will eventually reflect in the Black Stars performances, according to the teams General Manager, Ameenu Shardow.Shardow believes the Ghana head coach has shown remarkable humility in acknowledging his shortcomings during a difficult spell in charge and remains optimistic that Addos dedication will yield long-term success.I'm absolutely convinced Otto is the right person. He got a lot of things wrong. He is the first to admit that, Shardow said in an interview played on Asempa FM.If you put a camera before him, he will willingly tell you he got a lot of things wrong. But the way he coaches, the way he applies himself, the way he's always willing to learn he never sleeps. Hard worker. You could tell clearly that this is somebody who is destined for the top.Addo came under pressure after Ghana endured a six-game winless streak, including failing to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. However, his position was maintained by the Ghana Football Association, which opted to reinforce the technical team instead.Ghana responded with a strong showing during the March international window, beating Chad 5-0 and Madagascar 3-0 to take control of Group I in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Black Stars now sit three points clear of Comoros, with four games remaining.
