[caption id="attachment_1222342" align="alignnone" width="640"] Kofi Adams[/caption]Sports Minister Kofi Adams has urged the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) to work closely with key ministries to support sports development in the country.Speaking ahead of the GOC elections scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Minister stressed the importance of teamwork across government bodies."I will be expecting GOC in collaboration with NSA and the ministry together with the local government ministry and the other ministries that are related to work towards protecting and of course the ministry of education," he said."Luckily for us we have a minister himself who loves sports not only is he the one who has a football club but he plays it himself," he added.The Ministers comments highlight his belief that strong cooperation between the GOC, the National Sports Authority, and other relevant ministries is crucial for improving sports infrastructure and nurturing talent across Ghana.His remarks come at a time when many stakeholders are calling for better support and coordination within the countrys sports sector.
