According to Football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are carefully plotting a move for Victor Osimhen has the 2024/25 campaign draws to a close.
It's been widely publicized that the Red Devils are keen to bolster their striking department, with Osimhen being a top target in the last two seasons.
Now though, according to Romano, United are waiting to see if they could win the Europa League and qualify for the UEFA Champions League before pursuing a deal for the Nigerian goal-getter.
"There is nothing agreed with any club at the moment, also, because for Man United, as we said for [Liam] Delap, it's the same for Osimhen and other targets," Romano said, as per TeamTalk.
"Man United are waiting to understand about the Europa League, whether they will play Champions League football next season or not.
"Man United are waiting to understand how much they can really invest in the summer transfer window on the striker, and obviously a Champions League budget would be completely different.
"So that's going to be a really important point for United. There is interest in Osimhen for sure, from Man United."
