SKN St. Plten crushed local rivals SV Horn 4-1 at the NV Arena on Friday in a fiery 2. Liga Round 26 clash.Ghanaian winger Winfried Amoah played the full 90 minutes and made his mark with a fine assist.Despite Horn's better head-to-head record before the game, the Wolves took control from the start. Leo Krasniqi opened the scoring in the 13th minute after a perfect cross from Ramiz Harakate. Krasniqi struck again in the 22nd minute, finishing off a move he had started himself. Claudy M'Buyi made it 3-0 in the 35th minute, turning in a smart cross from Amoah. Just two minutes later, Christoph Messerer added a fourth, leaving Horn stunned before halftime.Although Horn grabbed a late consolation through Armin Spahic in the 88th minute, it was too little, too late. St. Plten dominated possession (73%) and fired 37 shots compared to Horns 11.Amoah, 24, now has four goals and six assists this season. St. Plten will look to build on this momentum when they face Sturm Graz II on May 3rd.
