Brayden Clarke is in his first full season as an Arsenal player and the defender has already reached some notable milestones.

Clarke made his debut for the U21s as a substitute away to Stoke City recently and was also named on the bench for the home fixture against Liverpool at that level.

Yesterday, with Maldini Kacurri involved with the first-team squad, Clarke was given his debut for the U19s against PSG in the UEFA Youth League and gave a very good account of himself in a 1-0 win.

The Wales youth international has demonstrated that he is an impressive reader of the game, while he also has good leadership qualities.

Clarke joined Arsenal from Wolves in March and settled in very quickly at the club as he featured prominently for the U18s.

Given that he already has a professional contract, it is clear that Arsenal have a lot of faith in Clarke and will give him chances at higher levels when possible.

Although he is mainly a centre-back, Clarke has also shown that he is capable of making an impact at right-back, with such versatility likely to be of great benefit as he aims to continue progressing.
