The spring sunshine ended up being the real winner after Brentford and Chelsea played out a 0-0 at the Gtech on Sunday afternoon. That, and the fact it was a better match than the subsequent televised derby game where Manchester City and Manchester United found new ways to test Roy Keane’s already thin tolerance thresholds.

For now though, the main talking points come out of West London. Who shone for Brentford? Could Chelsea have won? Who was star player and what was with the team selection?
