Update on Great West Road Sega site redevelopment plans

BIAS and Bees United have now both met with the developer of the SEGA Building (Areli Developments Limited) located on the Great West Road, just behind the Great West Road Station
The new development with consist of many new homes, shops, and cafes together with a public square. Space will also be left for a new overground railway station should agreement be forthcoming for a new west London orbital line linking Hounslow with Brent Cross, Old Oak Common, Hendon, and West Hampstead.
We understand the plans also include making improvements to crossing the Great West Road, better lighting and cycle lanes close to this location.
We understand planning permission was submitted in October 2023 to Hounslow Council and following further discussions with local parties a revised planning application was submitted in November 2024. Planning approval is expected later this year.
