Blackpool and Wigan are County Cup opponents

The draws have been made for this season's Lancashire Senior Cup and Lancashire Youth Cup with Burnley having secured games against Blackpool and Wigan.

We are playing Barrow next month in last season's final, and we are both in the eleven teams in this season's Senior Cup. Barrow are one of five to have received a bye but we were not quite so fortunate and will play Blackpool at home.

The Full 1^st Round Draw

Burnley v Blackpool
Wigan v Accrington
Fleetwood v Everton
Byes: Barrow, Blackburn, Bolton, Morecambe, Preston

We did secure a bye in the first round of the Youth Cup knowing that we would travel to face the winners of the game between Accrington and Wigan who had been paired together in the only first round tie. Wigan won that game 3-1 on penalties after the game had ended in a 5-5 draw.

Blackburn v Morecambe
Wigan v Burnley
Rochdale v Blackpool

There is no date for the Senior Cup game against Blackpool as yet but the youth game at Wigan has been pencilled in for 10^th December.
