Left-back Owen Dodgson is the latest player to move out on loan; he's joined League One club Burton Albion for the remainder of the season.

It's Dodgson's fourth loan in total and his second in League One. The first of the four was one league lower at Rochdale but last season he enjoyed a loan at Barnsley and then a very productive second half of the season with Dundee.

The 21-year-old will now join Burton and their battle at the bottom of the league. They are currently marooned at the bottom and eleven points behind fifth from bottom Bristol Rovers.

A delighted Dodgson, who has been limited to a very occasional under-21 game this season alongside some substitute places for the first team, said of the move: "I'm buzzing to be here, I spoke to the gaffer (former Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer) and we had some very positive conversations so now I'm just really excited to join and give my all for the club."

We wish Owen the very best during his time with Burton.
