After five years as a Burnley player, Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has left the Clarets to join League One club Birmingham City on a four-year deal.

He signed for us in the summer of 2019 but he had to wait over a year to make his debut, that coming in the League Cup win at Millwall in August 2020 with his next two appearances coming against Manchester City in both League Cup and Premier League defeats.

That league appearance against City was just one of four he made in the Premier League for us while he was able to add another eight in the Championship season, three of them as a substitute for Arijanet Muric.

In two of his seasons as a Burnley player he's been out on loan. He spent the 2021/22 season with Sheffield Wednesday while last season he was in Denmark with Aarhus GF, who it was reported were keen to take him back.

Out of contract this summer, Burnley exercised their option of a further year and that's allowed us to receive an undisclosed fee for him.

On completing the move, he said: "I am absolutely delighted. First of all, I am really happy to be here. It is a massive club with some huge ambitions for the coming years and to be a part of that is something that I had to come and do."

We wish BPF the very best at Birmingham.
