Stoppage time goal ends great run

The under-21s took their run of nine successive wins to Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon but fell to defeat with the home side scoring their winner in the first minute of stoppage time.
The team that last failed to win on 1st October against Sheffield United went in front on 17 minutes through midfielder Tommy McDermott with what proved to be the only goal of the first half.
That lead was held for over fifty minutes before Devlan Moses levelled for Wednesday and eight minutes later a goal from half time substitute Rio Shipton saw them go in front.
They were in front for only four minutes before Joe Westley (pictured) got on the end of a Kamarni Ryan cross to level things up and as we went into added time the score was 2-2 and we were looking as though, at least, we would be unbeaten.
That wasn't the case with Moses scoring his second and Wednesday's third just seconds into the added time, a goal that ended this magnificent run of results.
The teams were;
Sheffield Wednesday: Killian Barrett, Jay Buchan, Ernie Weaver (Joe Emery ht), Sam Reed, Reece Johnson, Jarvis Thornton, Nathaniel Chalobah (Rio Shipston ht), Trialist, Bruno Fernandes, Devlan Moses, George Brown. Other subs: Jack Phillips, Jack Swales, Dom Weston.
