Derby County face Luton Town at Pride Park on Friday night in their upcoming Championship clash.
Derby County head into the game positioned in 21st place in the table. DCFC are a point above the drop zone with four fixtures left to play this season.
The Rams drew 2-2 away at Portsmouth last time out. Jerry Yates was on the scoresheet for them at Fratton Park, whilst Rob Atkinson scored an own goal.
John Eustace was picked as their replacement for Paul Warne back in February and penned a deal at Pride Park running until June 2028. He left fellow second tier side Blackburn Rovers to take over.
As for Luton Town, they are inside the bottom three along with Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City. LTFC are three points from safety.
The Hatters were beaten 1-0 at home by Blackburn Rovers in their last outing. Their opponents went down to 10 men in the second half but they weren’t able to capitalise.
They were relegated from the Premier League last year along with Sheffield United and Burnley. However, they have struggled to adapt to life back in the Football League.

“This has all the ingredients to be a tight and nervy match. For that reason, I think one goal either way could be enough to win it.
“Derby County have massively improved since John Eustace took over. DCFC have lost only once in their last seven matches.
“Luton Town are desperate need of something here and are running out of time. LTFC’s defeat to 10 man Blackburn Rovers last time out was a damaging result.
“The Hatters will be low on confidence and are under massive pressure. I think the Rams may just sneak a win here.”

“There’s no downplaying the importance of this game. The outcome of this could be absolutely massive in the fight for survival.
“I feel one of Luton Town or Derby County will be relegated this season and the result here could dictate that. I can’t see both clawing their way out of the drop, but I am more confident that DCFC will be able to stay afloat.
“The Hatters might have found some better results of late but that Blackburn Rovers loss was a real blow, and away at Pride Park, I don’t think they’ll have the killer instinct to take their chances when they come.
“I’ll say Derby County win in a massive result.”
