Derby County, Plymouth Argyle and Millwall are among the admirers of Toyosi Olusanya but he favours an MLS move, according to Graeme Bailey.
Derby County and Plymouth Argyle are both fighting to retain their Championship statuses this season. DCFC are just above the bottom three while the Pilgrims sit bottom of the table.
Millwall have had a much better time of things this campaign and are fighting to sneak into the play-offs late in the day, with just four games left to play.
However, come the summer transfer window, all three sides will be out to strengthen their ranks regardless of which division they find themselves in.
Now, according to fresh reports, all of Derby County, Plymouth Argyle and Millwall have been eyeing a potential summer swoop for St. Mirren attacker Toyosi Olusanya.
Reporter Graeme Bailey has informed EFL Analysis that DCFC, Argyle and the Lions registered interest in the out-of-contract 27-year-old. Fellow Championship side Oxford United, League One duo Peterborough United and Rotherham United and Scottish pair Rangers and Aberdeen have also been keen.
However, Olusanya is rejecting a new deal at St. Mirren and EFL interest in favour of a move to an unnamed MLS side. The switch is expected to be sealed before the end of the season.
