'Fantastic player' – Ruben Selles heaps praise on Hull City man after transfer development

Hull City midfielder Gustavo Puerta has been labelled as a ‘fantastic player’ by boss Ruben Selles.
Hull Citywill sign the 21-year-old on a permanent basis from Bayer Leverkusen this summer. He has spent this season on loan with HCAFC from the Bundesliga champions.
Puerta, who is a former Colombia youth international, has made 29 appearances in all competitions, 28 of which have come in the Championship. He has scored two goals against Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup and Oxford United in the league.
Following the news that he is linking up full-time with the East Yorkshire outfit, Selles has said, as per a report by HullLive: “I think he’s a fantastic player for us. He’s a young, talented player who can start to play games and impact games. He has a lot to give to this football club. Having Gustavo in the dressing room is good news for the club.”
Hull City are positioned in 20th place in the table with only two fixtures left to play. They won 2-1 at home to Preston North End with Joe Gelhardt scoring twice against the Lilywhites. Selles’ men are two points above the drop zone and still have work to do.
