Leeds United injury news: Daniel Farke's update on key duo ahead of crucial Easter games

Daniel Farke confirmed Dan James and Joe Rothwell are both likely miss the clash with Oxford United in his latest Leeds United injury news update.
LUFC are looking to secure a return to the Premier League at the second time of asking. However, recent Leeds United injury news has made things tougher for Daniel Farke.
Championship Player of the Season nominee Dan James was struck down by injury in the win over Middlesbrough while loan ace Joe Rothwell picked up a calf injury in training earlier this month. It has left the Whites without two key players for some important games.
Thankfully, Farke and co have retained form nonetheless, though both James and Rothwell would have been welcomed back with open arms for quickfire Easter weekend fixtures against Oxford United and Stoke City.
Now though, Farke has shared the latest Leeds United injury news, with both likely to miss the Good Friday clash with Oxford.
As relayed by The Athletic’s Beren Cross, the LUFC boss said there is hope winger James can be available on Monday against Stoke but a return tomorrow will be a ‘late decision’. Rothwell meanwhile will likely have to wait until the Bristol City tie on Monday 28th to make his comeback.
