Nathan Jones quizzed on Charlton Athletic star amid Millwall, Preston interest

Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones has said he is yet to be contacted about interest in Thierry Small amid links with other clubs.
Charlton Athletic are currently focused on their bid for a place in the League One play-offs. CAFC have surged up the table over the second half of the campaign and still have a chance of a top two finish.
That does seem unlikely though, with six points between the Addicks and 2nd-placed Wrexham. 10 points now separates them and 7th though, so a top-six spot can be mathematically confirmed on Good Friday.
However, that hasn’t stopped player transfer speculation amid claims Championship pair Millwall and Preston North End are keen on wing-back Thierry Small.
Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones has now been quizzed on the matter, and he didn’t have much to say regarding interest and a potential exit.
As quoted by the South London Press, the CAFC chief said he has not received any contact over the matter, but insisted his focus is on his own work. Jones said:
“No contact from anyone.
“Part of my remit is to work with young players and develop young players to make them assets for the football club. There you go.”
