Enzo Maresca has admitted he will make some changes for Thursday's game against Fulham after the draw against Everton.

Chelsea's five game winning streak in the league came to an end last weekend as they were held to a goalless draw at Goodison Park.

The Blues defended pretty well, but it was a rare off day for the attack as Maresca's men struggled to create chances against a resolute Everton defence.

Despite the dropped points Chelsea are still second in the league and sit four points behind Liverpool, but the  gap to Arsenal in third is now two points.

Fulham visit Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day and they are without a win at the ground since 1979, although Marco Silva's side will no doubt pose a threat.

Maresca will be hoping Chelsea's attack is back to it's best for the final home game of 2024 and speaking ahead of the game the 44-year-old has hinted at changes.

"Against Fulham we are going to change some things, then we have another game in three days, and we are going to continue to take decisions game after game," he said as cited on X.com.

Marc Cucurella returns from suspension and will likely return to the side at left back, whilst you would expect Axel Disasi to drop out and Levi Colwill to move back into centre back.

Chelsea are still without Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana and Reece James, whilst Maresca also confirmed the game against Fulham is still too soon for Romeo Lavia.

In attack Maresca faces a decision of whether to restore Noni Madueke to the line-up, with Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto seemingly the first choice pairing at the moment.

The final two games of the year are certainly winnable for Chelsea, and after the clash with Fulham they travel to Ipswich on December 30th for their final game of the year.
