Oh?

There's been rumblings for some time about Christopher Nkunku's happiness levels at Chelsea, with the 27-year-old consigned largely to second-string duty. While he leads the team in appearances (28, four more than the next player), he does not lead it in minutes (ten players have more) as his involvement in the Premier League has been restricted almost exclusive to substitute appearances.

Surely, that's not what he had envisioned when agreeing to join as one of the marquee signings of the early BlueCo days, even if his beginnings at the club were greatly disrupted by a knee injury suffered in preseason, which had ruled him out for four months. He's looked more and more disinterested as the current season's gone along.

So perhaps it's not surprising that after some idle speculation about interest from PSG, we have some more serious rumors of a potential move to Bayern Munich.

Multiple reports late last night claim that he's already agreed terms with the 2012 Champions League final runners-ups, and now it's up to the two teams to figure out a deal.

That may sound simple enough, but in classic BlueCo fashion, we're trying to game the system and get something more than just cash in return. We want Mathys Tel, the highly promising 19-year-old forward, who's not seen as much action under manager Vincent Kompany as he had previously under our former boss Thomas Tuchel.

Tel has a contract through 2029 and reportedly has no interest in leaving Bayern, so this might get complicated. But losing Nkunku without at least some sort of replacement that's not Marc Guiu should not even enter into our consideration.
