Earlier this week, we covered claims from Germany which said Chelsea have a concrete interest in Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier.

It was claimed that the Blues gathered information about the player, who has a €30m release clause at the Bundesliga side.

Since AC Milan are also said to be interested in Beier, we now get to see an interesting story from CalcioMercato.it which has a lot to do with Chelsea.

With the Rossoneri engaged in a big hunt for a new striker, the outlet writes that the 21-year-old is a target, and there’d be heavy competition from the Blues.

Chelsea were reportedly the first club to move for the player, getting an advantage to land him.

Now in case the Blues win the race for Beier, that wouldn’t be such bad news for Milan. That’s because they’re interested in Armando Broja.

It’s then believed that if Chelsea sign the Hoffenheim player, they’d make it easier for the Rossoneri to sign the Albanian.

Milan will be watching the situation closely, and could benefit in both scenarios.
