Chelsea said to be making shock moves for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea are preparing a shock move for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho this month.
That's according to L'Equipe, who say the Manchester United man is on their list alongside Karim Adeyemi.
The newspaper reports that Chelsea are a side to 'watch out' for at the end of this January transfer window as they plan big moves behind the scenes.
With Axel Disasi and Christopher Nkunku expected to leave, new arrivals will follow at Stamford Bridge. And one of them could be Garnacho.
Chelsea 'have launched several files' as they look to improve their forward options. The Manchester United man is someone they have looked at.
There's no mention of the nature of their moves as yet, just that they would provide competition to Napoli. The Italian side are trying to sign a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
They have already made a verbal offer for Adeyemi. Several reports have them pursuing Garnacho at the same time.
It's been stated in England that talents such as him and Kobbie Mainoo could be sold by Manchester United to help balance the books and bring in money for Ruben Amorim to spend.
We, though, would advise caution for any excited Chelsea fans. L'Equipe have been very busy this week involving themselves in transfer business that really, does not concern them.
While we're willing to accept their inside track on French players potentially leaving Chelsea, the idea that they're ahead of everyone else on interest in Garnacho is harder to accept.
The likelihood is that he's on a long list of potential options and nothing more. In fact, we'd suggest this rumour is nothing more than L'Equipe playing on what has been said in England regarding Manchester United sales.
