Ugh

Alejandro Garnacho's agents were spotted at the Chelsea match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night, and while we reportedly did not actually invite them there specifically, their presence has fueled a fresh round of speculation about a potential Chelsea move for the 20-year-old winger.

Adding further fuel to this growing fire are reports that, contrary to initial expectations that they would play hardball over the price, Manchester United have lowered their demands, to "around £50m", as per The Telegraph, or to €65m (£55m) as per Gianluca Di Marzio.

Of course, those are still quite hefty fees, especially for a seemingly quite unwanted player. And their ultimate target may not even be Chelsea, but rather Napoli. But The Telegraph's report is treating our potential interest quite seriously, adding that we will be "holding talks" (presumably internal) over whether to make a move. We're also said to be "seeking assurances over Garnacho's temperament", whatever that means, before deciding any such action.

We're into the final 10 days of the winter window, so we don't have too long to hold out without doing something silly.
