...as it happened: live blog, updates, highlights, lineups, comments, etc.

The transfer market is hotting up so let's hope our play on the pitch will match that growing intensity tonight as we take on a sneakily good AFC Bournemouth team, who come in just three places and three points behind us. We're now fully embroiled in a top-four race thanks to our disappointing results of late, and this would be a great time to get our acts back together.

Enzo Maresca has picked his strongest lineup, which, as expected, includes young Josh Acheampong at center back. We get Caicedo at nominal right-back as Lavia comes back into midfield. Reece James is on the bench, and so are Renato Veiga and Christopher Nkunku.

Here we go!

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Sanchez | Cucurella, Colwill, Acheampong, Caicedo | Enzo, Lavia | Sancho, Palmer, Madueke | Jackson

Substitutes from: Jorgensen, Tosin, Veiga, Gusto, James, Neto, Felix, Nkunku, Guiu

AFC Bournemouth starting XI:
Travers | Huijsen, Kerkez, Cook (c), Brooks, Christie, O.Dango, Adams, Hill, Semenyo, Zabarnyi

Substitutes from: Dennis, Kluivert, Jebbison, Adu-Adjei, Akinmboni, Winterburn, Kinsey, Sadi, Rees-Dottin
