Southampton vs. Chelsea, Premier League: You choose the starting lineup

Coming off our best performance of the season, Chelsea face the entirely undaunting task of going to Southampton and play against the Premier League's worst team. Saints are rock bottom of the table, with just five points and one (1) whole win so far this season.

But of course there are no easy games in the Premier League, and it could thus be a most classic "trap game" for us. All it takes is just a slight wavering of commitment, just a small hiccup in confidence, a bad moment or two. It's easy to lose focus and get punished for it. The league is unforgiving.

Enzo Maresca understands this very well, especially given his familiarity with Southampton from last season.

"It's the worst game since we start the season, for us, and will be the toughest game since we start the season. We need to be ready, otherwise it will be a bad day for us."

With a few injuries creeping in of late — Reece James and Wesley Fofana are out with hamstring issues — and the fixture list getting busier and busier, including this midweek Premier League matchup where we can't just plug in the A-lineup once again (or can we?), some wise choices need to be made.
