How "weird connections" with Chelsea academy star could bring Bayern Munich talent back to Chelsea

Chelsea are playing in TNT Sports' 12.30 kick off tomorrow, and so there's a wave of content coming your way from the broadcaster.

We've already had the in-depth, chin stroking tactical masterclass with Rio Ferdinand speaking to Enzo Maresca about double pivots and so on. Now we get something more light hearted – Kenny Allstar taking Levi Colwill for a drive and finding out a little more about the Cobham lad making his name in the first team.

We've already covered Colwill's hilarious Van Dijk anecdote, which saw the defender facing off against the man he considered one of his idols in his very first game for Chelsea's first team, 18 months ago.

You can see the interview in the clip embedded here:

Colwill's Musiala connection

There's a lot of chat about fashion and music – but we were more interested in the football side. There's an interesting anecdote in there about Jamal Musiala, now a star at Bayern Munich, who played with Colwill in the Chelsea academy.

It turns out their connection runs even deeper than that, however. They had both been playing in the same Sunday League, and then ended up doing Chelsea trials at the same time. There were other "weird connections," like them having the same birthday.

Let's hope it all comes full circle one day, with Jamal coming back to play at Chelsea where he should always have been… agent Colwill, do your thing. He says they're still in touch, so you never know…

There's tons of other great stuff in there – a funny story about the first time he was recognised on the streets to who the best FIFA player in the dressing room is (you can probably guess).

It's a fun feature which is well worth a watch – we recommend it!
