One former Chelsea defender has declared his unhappiness with one current player after his latest display in a Chelsea shirt.
The news comes after Chelsea were defeated by Arsenal in the Premier League yesterday, losing to a first half headed goal by Mikel Merino.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea in for THIRD Sporting player this summer after two agreements made!
The game was obviously not without its drama and Chelsea fans saw what they expect to see every time Robert Sanchez starts, and that is him making a silly mistake and giving away a goal. This time he got lucky, but Maresca continued to back his goalkeeper at the full time whistle once again.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was seen mocking Maresca on the side lines in an interaction that has annoyed Blues fans even more.
All in all it wasn't a good performance from Chelsea and it lacked intensity, desire, energy, and any kind of real belief that they could get something from the game.
Gallas unhappy
Having watched Jadon Sancho's latest performance at the Emirates, former Chelsea centre-back William Gallas thinks his former club should seriously re-consider signing him permanently.
'That player has talent. He's a talented player, everybody knows this, but we don't know why he can't perform and can't show what he can do,' Gallas said of Sancho on Stadium Astro.
'At Dortmund, he was magnificent. At Manchester United it didn't work well for him. He came to Chelsea and at the beginning we saw that Sancho from Dortmund, but then he disappeared.
'I don't know what the problem is, but at the moment he can't stay at Chelsea because he has to do more.
'When you play in the Premier League you have to play every game at the highest level. It's not easy, but you can't just play well for a few games and then chill out.'
Asked specifically about Sancho's performance against Arsenal, Gallas added: 'Did you see him dribble past his left-back today? No. He did nothing.
'He didn't challenge his left-back opponent. He always gets the ball, does some skills, and then passes the ball back. We want to see more, especially when you are the winger.'
